Who are the outlaws? Gov't, Big Pharma, Patent Offices, Universities, What could possibly keep proven cancer cures off the market?


Dr Evangelos Michalakis from the University of Alberta has found an old cheap drug that cures cancer BUT is having trouble finding funding. Big Pharma of course won't help with the $100 million dollars it takes to get a new drug on the market Because they can't get a patent on  an old drug. The drug has been proven to be safe but it may fall to the wayside if Dr. Michalakis is unsuccessful. He hopes that other universities or a government agency would help. He believes it doesn't get any better that what he as see this amazing drug do in his studies and research.
Dr. Dario Altieri of the University of Massachusetts is one that is interested and see the value.

This is the situation we as consumers face in our capitalistic economy where nothing much matters but the "god all mighty dollar". What works and is good for you health is pretty much ignored and in some cases like Cannabis, it is outlawed just because it does work. Big pharma doesn't really want to find a 'cure' for anything, or they would be putting themselves out of business. They are mandated by governments to turn a profit every year. The government obviously doesn't really care how they do that, as long as they do. If people start dropping like flies at a Raid convention, they might do something; any thing short of that seems just "A Ok"  to them. 
We need a change here folks, a very fundamental change. Not only a change of how we do business but a change back to a moral society. One that deeply cares about people, animals and the environment.
